Well respected Queensland agent David Friend has joined forces with Ray White Livestock in a move that will strengthen the sales and livestock marketing services provided to the community of Warwick.
David Friend’s vast livestock industry knowledge, gained through a lifetime in stock and station agency, will be a welcome asset to the broader network of like-minded livestock agents spanning the key agricultural hubs in Queensland and beyond.
Mr Friend, who will this year celebrate 47 years as a stock and station agent, is best known for his service in the Queensland regional centers of Goondiwindi, Roma, and Warwick.
As a young agent, he worked throughout New South Wales in communities including Braidwood, Harden, Blayney, Quirindi and Brewarrina in far western New South Wales. This combined experience sees him well regarded as one of the foremost sheep, lamb and cattle agents in the state.
The new business will trade as Ray White Livestock Warwick, housed in the existing Ray White Rural in that community owned by well established rural property salesman Peter Lane.
Both Peter and David see the benefits in offering their existing and new clients an all encompassing service.
Assisting David will be Ben Johnston who will concentrate his time on the Warwick area whilst assisting, when needed in the Ray White stronghold of Tenterfield across the border.
Combining the experience of David with the energy and skills that Ben brings with him will ensure clients the most successful results for every transaction.
The Ray White Rural network boasts over 100 rural offices, many with specialist livestock agents, all of whom will be able to assist the Warwick business with marketing options available to a national network.
Locally the surrounding Ray White offices of Toowoomba, Dalby, Pittsworth, Goondiwindi, Casino, Glen Innes and Tenterfield have all expressed their endorsement and backing of David in his new business.
