Ray White Rural Pittsworth conduct Cooleigh Clearing Sale

By Laura Tacey

The team at Ray White Rural Pittsworth were extremely busy last Saturday when they conducted their 2nd clearing sale for Charlie & Susan Uebergang at Cooleigh, Pittsworth.

There has been a long relationship with the Uebergang family for over 30 years.

The highlight of the sale were commercial Dorper ewes and lambs selling for a record $530 per head.

“We believe that this price would have to be near Queensland record for the dorper commercial ewes and lambs at a sale.” said principal and auctioneer James Croft.

The complete flock averaged $450 per head which was an exceptional result. Other highlights of the sale include an Angus cow/calf making $3350, Mahindra 80hp Tractor $37,250, Kubota ride-on $8000, Westbrook trailer $5600 and Kubota Diesel side by side $21,000 which was the same price Charlie paid for five years.

There was a huge crowd to witness these extraordinary prices in this ever confident agriculture industry.

A special thanks must go to Matt Cleary, James Croft and the Ray White Rural Pittsworth team on a sensational job.
